Phaidra has been playing for the Women’s National team since 1999. From 1999-2002 she was a prop and since 2003, she has been playing flanker for the Eagles. She was a member of the 2006 Women’s Rugby World Cup team and selected to the All-Star XV as a flanker.
Phaidra graduated from Wilkinson County High School in 1992. As a four year varsity player on her high school basketball team, Phaidra was a captain, MVP and earned All-American honors. She also earned three varsity letters playing on the tennis team and was a regional finalist. While in high school, Phaidra was an honor roll student and graduated with both full academic and athletic scholarships.
Phaidra played for the Wisconsin Women in Madison, WI from 1997-2002. Since 2002, she has been playing flanker for the New York Women’s side.

Phaidra began playing rugby while in Law school. She was introduced to the sport from a woman she met at a law school function in Wisconsin and fell in love with the sport after her first practice. Phaidra graduated from Alabama State University in 1996 with a dual BA in Political Science and Speech Communication. In 1999 she graduated from University of Wisconsin with a JD in Law.
