Pat was named to the Collegiate All-Americans in 2007-2008 when he played for Stanford University. He recently played rugby at Dublin University, but is now been back in the states playing for Life University. Most recently Pat has been named to the USA Eagles pool in 2009 and 2010.

Pat was talked into playing rugby after his football eligibility was over at Stanford. He then went on to graduate from Stanford in 2007 with a BA and in 2008 with an MA, playing rugby both years.

Pat has two brothers that also play rugby. His older brother, Sean players for NY and his younger brother Mike plays at Colgate Univ.
